Install two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity.
Extend the telescopic antenna for best reception.
Turn the radio on and select AM, FM, or WB (Weather Band).
Use the tunning control to select the desired station or NOAA weather channel.

NOAA Weather Band: The W919WB receives all 7 NOAA weather channels (162.400 - 162.550 MHz).
Power
Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity. Turn the radio on using the power control.
Band selection
Select the desired radio band: AM, FM, or WB (Weather Band)
AM/FM Radio
Select AM or FM and use the tunning control to locate the desired station. Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level.
NOAA Weather Band
Select WB to access NOAA weather broadcast. The W919WB receives all 7 NOAA weather channels from 162.400 to 162.550 MHz
Antenna
Extend the telescopic antenna to improve FM and NOAA Weather Band reception. Adjust the antenna position as needed for the clearest signal.
Battery Care
Remove the batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period. Replace both batteries when performance becomes weak.
Troubleshooting
Radio does not turn on
Check that two AA batteries are installed correctly.
Verify the battery polarity (+/−).
Replace the batteries if necessary.
Poor or weak reception
Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
Adjust the antenna position.
Move the radio away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
Try moving to a different location, preferably near a window.
Cannot receive NOAA Weather Band
Make sure WB (Weather Band) is selected.
Fully extend and reposition the antenna.
Try each of the 7 NOAA weather channels to find the strongest signal in your area.
No sound or low volume
Check the volume setting.
Make sure the radio is powered on and the desired band is selected.
Replace the batteries if the sound becomes weak or distorted.
